Mithun Chakraborty was born 16 June 1952 in Barisal, East Bengal, Dominion of Pakistan (now in Bangladesh). Born name as Gaourang Chakraborty, better known as Mithun Chakraborty also Mithun Da is an Indian Bengali Actor singer, prouder, writer, social worker, entrepreneur, television presenter and a former Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament. He is big fan of American Actor Brad Pitt.
He is well-known actor in Bollywood and Bengali Industry. Mithun Chakraborty has received numerous awards, including two filmfare awards and three national film awards.
Mithun Chakraborty was born in Barisal, Bangladesh. He educated from Scottish Church College in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, where he earned his degree in Chemistry. Mithun Chakraborty is graduated from the Film and Television Institute of India, Pune.
Mithun Chakraborty first married Sridevi Kapoor in 1985 but the divorced in 1988 and later He married to Yogeeta Bali in 1979. The couple have four children son is Mahaakshay Chakraborty and three more.
Mithun Chakraborty made his acting debut with Mrinal Sen's film Mrigaya in 1976. The film earned him first National Film Award for the Best Actor. Followed by the films his next breakthrough flm Mera Rakshak, Surakshaa, Tarana, Prem Vivah, Hm Paanch, Shukeen, Sun Sajna, Aamne Samne, Pyar Jhkta Nahin, Ghulami etc.
